Medical certificates (attestations)

  • A sick note can only be issued during the consultation or, in exceptional cases, no later than the next working day.

  • No backdating: attestations cannot be changed retroactively to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • For patients under 16 who need a school certificate, it is strongly recommended that they are accompanied by a parent, or bring a signed written consent from the parent(s), confirming awareness of the child’s absence due to illness.

Respect and hygiene

  • Respect for everyone is essential.

  • Please maintain basic hygiene out of respect for staff and other patients.

  • Do not use your phone during a consultation.

  • Smoking is not allowed in the practice building.

Emergencies / walk-in consultation

  • An appointment is required for consultations at HAP Kioskplaats.
  • Patients who need to be seen urgently on the same day and are unable to obtain an appointment due to a full schedule at HAP Kioskplaats can visit Dr. Mohan during walk-in consultations at the GP practice in Borgerhout without an appointment.
  • Please note that these consultations operate on a first-come, first-served basis, which means you may have to wait a short while.
  • These consultations are intended for acute or urgent complaints.
